Weaving Small Sheep (PDF) Pattern for 8S Loom (Overshot)

The PDF Tie-up is written for a Jack or rising shed loom. If you have a sinking shed or counter marche loom you will need to adapt the tie up. If you need help please contact me.

These instructions assume you are familiar with the Overshot weave structure. This structure is woven with one warp and two wefts. The plain weave, also called the ground or tabby weft and the pattern or supplementary weft. For more information on this structure there are many references on the internet or in books.

Fabric Description: Plain weave with overshot: using two shuttles

These Sheep were inspired by a pattern created by Nellie Burnham.

If you have any questions about this pattern please contact me. As with all new instructions there may be parts that need rewording. I will update as needed.
