Waffle Weave Towels (PDF) Pattern
Project Notes: The instructions are for 4 small towels or two table runners, using a 4.5 yard warp using a 4-shaft loom and any color you choose.
You will receive 4 different treadle sequences plus one bonus sequence.
Note: The yarn used in this warp is 6/2 cotton.
Type of loom: 4 shafts
Fabric Description: Crackle Weave
Two shuttles are used to weave 4 of the patterns.
Warp: Natural cotton 6/2 1400 yards.
Weft: Natural 8/2 or 6/2 cotton 600 yards for tabby 3/2 cotton 500 yards or 5/2 or 4/2 doubled for pattern.
E.P.I. 18 Width in Reed: 16 ¾” Number of Warp threads:
NOTE: The amount our yarn is a suggestion. You could make the warp longer or shorter or even make it narrower or wider, by adjusting the calculations.
