I use cold water, mild detergent (if you have access to a textile wash this is great) in the washing machine on gentle by itself and add the color grabber that is included it will catch excess dye (hard to rinse it all out).
NOTE: All yarn has been hand dyed. Some sections may be lighter than others. No two are alike. The skeins that were dyed one color have variations in shading with light and dark areas. This adds to the uniqueness and look of added texture.
